Job Summary
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with resident care plans and dietary guidelines. Set up dining areas, ensure meals are served on time and at proper temperatures, and provide meal assistance to residents with kindness. Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work areas, and dining spaces following food safety protocols, while washing dishes and disposing of waste appropriately. Collaborate with cooks, dietary staff, and care teams to communicate resident preferences and concerns, greeting residents warmly to create a positive dining experience. Assist with meal setup for special events, holidays, or community activities while treating residents with dignity. Work in a fast-paced environment requiring the ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift up to 25 pounds, and work in a warm kitchen. Schedule is 11:00am to 7:00pm, weekends only.
