Job Summary
Make guests feel appreciated and welcome through your actions while seeking meaningful connections to cultivate regulars. Serve guests with a genuinely positive attitude, conveying passion for our beer and entertainment, and approach every interaction with empathy. Be present and attentive by recognizing visual cues of guests' needs before they realize what they need, and work as a team at all times to prioritize on behalf of the guest. Proactively keep server stations stocked and your section clean and clear, then review the daily tasks checklist to ensure the floor is ready for service. Run food, bus tables, and contribute to the beer hall experience while accurately processing transactions using the POS system. Check identification of guests to verify they are of legal drinking age and uphold the expectation of "Full hands in. Full hands out."
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which will include days, nights, weekends and holidays as well as emergency responsiveness as required
- Weekend availability
- Able to work ten hour-plus shifts
- Able to stand, sit, squat or walk for extended periods of time
- Able to walk up and down stairs
- Able to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, ever changing work environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of health and sanitation code and policies
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- High integrity and professionalism
- A positive, joyful, upbeat and energetic attitude
- Must be 18 years old or older
