Job Summary
Provide efficient, friendly guest service to a 3-6 table section by greeting guests with a warm smile, anticipating needs, and following all service steps. Accurately record orders, process payments, and balance sales/receipts in compliance with policies. Safely transport food or beverages to tables, operate POS systems and payment terminals, and use tact when addressing guest challenges. Multitask calmly in a busy environment while understanding menu details, food allergies, and special orders. Work a variety of hours including weekends. Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand for entire shifts. - Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and move safely through all areas of the restaurant, which may include stairs, uneven or slick surfaces
- Understand and follow the food allergy procedure and special orders/restrictions
- Proficiency in the use and operation of all necessary tools and equipment, including the POS system and Frequent Diner, Gift Card and Credit Card terminals
- Successfully complete alcohol awareness training
- Get along well with others and be a team player
