Job Summary
Le Flâneur at Recess Hotel & Club in Savannah seeks polished, knowledgeable Servers to provide attentive, personalized service in a fast-paced, upscale dining environment. Key responsibilities include guiding guests through menu selections, knowledge of food, beverage, wine, cocktails, and desserts, entering orders via POS, pre-busing and resetting tables, collaborating with culinary/bar/host teams, and supporting opening/closing side work. Ideal candidates are passionate about hospitality and guest engagement, possess strong communication and organizational skills, and can maintain professional service while delivering memorable experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Previous restaurant serving experience preferred
- upscale dining experience is a plus
- Passion for hospitality, food, wine, and guest engagement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain composed and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to learn and confidently communicate menu and beverage knowledge
- Experience using point-of-sale systems preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry food and beverage trays safely
- Professional presentation and grooming standards
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
- Commitment to creating exceptional guest experiences through thoughtful, attentive service
