Job Summary
Conduct shift pre-meetings, manage breaks, and ensure appropriate team coverage while delivering best-in-class food and beverage service. Handle all comps, refunds, and transactions in the POS, enforce state liquor laws, and maintain a safe working environment by following safety guidelines. Engage fans, coworkers, and managers with a positive attitude, ensuring every guest is taken care of from entry to exit. Work a variety of shifts including late hours, holidays, and weekends in a fast-paced environment, attending ongoing service trainings and complying with all company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Previous serving experience
- Excellent communication and professional interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English
- Ability to write in basic English
- Food handlers' card
- State recognized responsible alcohol certification
- Legal age to serve alcohol in accordance with local and state laws
- Ability to continuously stand, walk and lift up to 10 pounds
- Ability to frequently bend, squat, reach overhead, and lift up to 20 pounds
- Ability to occasionally kneel and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to seldom sit, climb, push, pull, and lift over 50 pounds
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, based on the need volume of the operation (late hours, holidays, weekend, etc.)
- Ability to consistently be friendly and outgoing toward fans, management, and fellow team members
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Good time management skills
- Communication skills
- Knowledge of all food and beverage menus, specials, seasonal beers and drinks
- Knowledge of the Company's products, services, current promotions, and recurring events
- Willingness to follow direction of all supervisors, including additional requests for side work, cleaning, etc...
- Knowledge of State Liquor laws
- Knowledge of Company policies regarding the service of any alcoholic beverage and enforcement of ordinances and laws
- Willingness to attend all on-going food, bar, or service trainings, when scheduled
- Ability to comply with and support all policies set forth by the Cosm employee handbook and training manuals
- Ability to explain and demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Willingness to follow all appropriate Cosm policies and procedures outlined in the training manuals and employee handbook
- Ability to be well-groomed and in proper uniform

- Ability to follow all company accounting policies and procedures regarding credit card and gift card transactions
- Ability to follow all company accounting policies and procedures regarding discounts, promos and team member meals
- Ability to conduct the shift pre-shift meeting with the team
- Ability to manage the breaks, and appropriate coverage for the team
- Ability to provide best-in-class food and beverage service
