Job Summary
Provide attentive food and beverage service to guests, greet customers warmly, know the menu to inform or recommend items, take orders, and serve all food and drinks. Help set up, open and close the bar and catering area, maintain a clean and well-organized work environment, and comply with alcohol regulations. Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and stress-management skills; physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lb. Position is part-time with shifts Wednesday–Saturday 3:00 PM–12:00 AM and occasional daytime weekend or weekday shifts. High school diploma or equivalent is an asset; previous restaurant service experience is an asset. Location: Germain Hotels in St. John’s, NL, Canada.
