Job Summary
Greets guests, explains menus, answers questions, and takes and records food and drink orders including special preparation requests. Verify orders are properly plated per park standards and ensure food and beverages are served promptly. Adheres to alcohol consumption policies, checks back on guests to respond to needs, refill drinks, and take dessert orders. Process guest checks and accept payment. Balance and transport large trays of food up to 30 lbs. through the dining room. Requires 6+ months of serving experience, a Food Handler's card, and ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Preferred availability includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ months of serving experience
- Ability to follow proper service standards for casual to formal dining environments
- Food Handler's card as applicable by state or provincial law
- Ability to memorize complete menu, including modifiers and explain to guests
- Ability to balance and transport large trays of food, up to 30 lbs., through a crowded dining room throughout scheduled shift
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs
- Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law
