Job Summary
Greet and welcome all guests, take beverage and food orders, and present food according to established health and presentation standards. Monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption, check identification for questionable ages, and notify management of incidents involving impaired guests. Clear and clean tables, wipe down surfaces, and perform opening or closing duties as required. Take action to solve guest problems, process transactions, and work as a team to ensure excellent service. Must love customer service, have foodservice experience, and be at the minimum age to serve alcohol. Schedule is 5am-10am with potential for more hours as business picks up. Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
Required Qualifications
- Basic reading and writing
- Must be at the minimum age to serve alcohol in line with any local legislative requirements
- Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms
- Moving about the restaurant
- Handling food objects; plates, trays, glasses, etc.
- Bending, stooping, kneeling
- Ability to comply with local laws regarding food handling or serving of alcohol
- Reading and writing abilities
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and/or holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Foodservice experience with general knowledge of restaurant operations preferred
