Server

Serves food & beverages to patrons in a dining establishment by presenting the menu, answering questions, and suggestively selling food and service. Takes and writes or memorizes orders, relays them to the kitchen, and ensures timely, hot, correctly prepared delivery. Garnishes and decorates dishes, enforces age restrictions for alcohol, and refuses service to minors. Observes diners to meet requests and ensure satisfaction; collects payment and makes change using prescribed cash handling procedures. Performs side duties, buses and sets tables, maintains a clean and stocked work area, and adheres to all Kinseth Hospitality policies. The role emphasizes guest satisfaction, accuracy in service, and teamwork with wait staff; physical duties include standing, lifting up to 25 pounds, and regular movement throughout shifts.
