Job Summary
Serves food and beverages to patrons by presenting menus, taking orders, and relaying requests to the kitchen to ensure timely, hot, and correctly prepared dishes. Garnishes and decorates dishes, ladles soup, tosses salads, portions desserts, and brews coffee. Busses and sets tables according to standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and stocked work area. Collects payments and makes change using prescribed cash handling procedures. Cards patrons under the legal drinking age and refuses service to intoxicated individuals. Observes diners to respond to additional requests and determine meal completion. Follows all KHC policies, dress codes, and safety guidelines while maintaining a professional image. No supervisory responsibilities.

- Must be able to refuse to serve alcohol to minors
- Must be able to use good judgement in not serving alcohol to intoxicated patrons
- Must be able to observe diners to respond to additional requests
- Must be able to determine when meal has been completed
- Must be able to collect money for food and drinks served
- Must be able to accurately make change using prescribed cash handling procedures
