Job Summary
As a Server at JOEY Uptown in Houston, provide friendly and attentive dining-room service, navigate menu options with extensive knowledge, input orders accurately into the POS system, monitor/assist with the delivery of orders, process final guest checks and payments securely, resolve guest issues with urgency and poise, enforce alcohol service age requirements per state law, and uphold food and alcohol safety procedures while delivering a world-class hospitality experience. Must demonstrate genuine warmth, teamwork, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to professional appearance and guest satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3+ years customer service experience
- Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler and Alcohol Server/Seller permits
- Passion for hospitality and creating world-class hospitality experiences
- Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods; lift up to 50 lbs; able to bend/reach/repeat
- Strong relationship building and communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
