Job Summary
Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, and courteous manner while taking food and beverage orders into the POS system. Set up and break down tables, ensuring compliance with proper serving techniques and etiquette. Maintain a safe environment for staff and guests, encourage teamwork, and communicate effectively with employees, healthcare professionals, and resident families. Work part-time PM shifts (11:00 am-7:30 pm) with flexibility for weekends and holidays at Oakmont Management Group's premier senior living community in Carmel.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
- Must be able to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases
Desired Qualifications
- Experience is preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
- Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
