Job Summary
Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, and courteous manner while accurately taking food and beverage orders and entering them into the POS system. Set up and break down tables, maintain a safe environment by following established safety standards, and ensure compliance with proper serving techniques and etiquette. Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments. This role supports exceptional quality care at a premier senior living community managed by Oakmont Management Group, fostering meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
- Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
- Must be able to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases
Desired Qualifications
- Experience is preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate
- Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
