Job Summary
Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, and courteous manner while accurately taking food and beverage orders and entering them into the POS system. Set up and break down tables, ensuring compliance with proper serving techniques and etiquette. Maintain a safe environment for all staff, residents, and guests by following established safety standards and encouraging teamwork through cooperative interactions. This role supports the dining experience at Ivy Park at Alta Loma, a premier senior living community managed by Oakmont Management Group. Team members work in a friendly environment focused on enhancing the customer experience and promoting resident independence.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
- Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
- Must be able to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases
Desired Qualifications
- Experience is preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
