Job Summary
Deliver outstanding customer service by attending to diners before, during, and after meals, ensuring timely food and beverage delivery while checking tables periodically. Inform guests of menu changes and daily specials, answer questions regarding the food program, and ensure all orders are filled accurately. Prepare final bills, process payments, and perform station opening/closing duties while assisting bussers with clearing and resetting tables. Maintain cleanliness in all service areas and remain available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth operations. This role requires two years of server experience in a high-end restaurant, proficiency in Microsoft Suite and POS systems, and a valid Food Handler Card and Alcohol Awareness Training Certificate.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years previous server experience in a high-end, high-volume restaurant
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel
- Open Table and Restaurant POS Systems
- Possess a strong familiarity with food service regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong communication skills, both with guests and teammates
- A positive, upbeat attitude with a strong work ethic
- Flexible availability to work days, nights, weekends
- A valid Food Handler Card
- Alcohol Awareness Training Certificate
- Ability to work standing for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be 21 years or older
