Job Summary
Part-time Server responsible for serving meals to residents and guests, maintaining sanitary service areas, performing side work and setup/breakdown, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality food, handling resident concerns professionally, and upholding Dining Services standards. Shift is 3pm–7pm with emphasis on friendly customer service, teamwork, and safe food handling; occasional travel to different locations may be required. The role requires standing, reading and interpreting documents and computer screens, and effective English communication in a resident-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required
- Must be friendly, provide excellent customer service and consistently display an attitude which fosters a teamwork environment
- Fluent English (read, write, and speak)
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, guests, and associates
- Follow safe food handling and sanitation practices
- Tactfully handle resident concerns and complaints
- Follow Dining Services Standards of service
