Job Summary
Greet residents at the entrance, direct them to their desired seats, and assist with walkers for safety. Remove and store walkers, pour beverages, buss tables, and set tables meticulously. Manage room service carts, ensuring they are ready and delivered in a prompt professional manner. Run food from the kitchen, serve parties in the private dining room, and assist with cleaning, closing, sweeping, and sanitizing all dining areas. Maintain a positive attitude while performing all other duties assigned by the Executive Chef and Sous Chef.
Required Qualifications
- Level 1 Food Safe
- Serving it Right
- Minimum 1 year serving experience
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
- Passion for helping seniors & providing excellent service
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills, both written and oral
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Must demonstrate a positive and team-oriented attitude
- Must work well within a team environment
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision & have strong initiative
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to safely & efficiently operate all equipment associated with the duties required for the position
