Job Summary
Greet and seat guests in a friendly, professional manner while explaining menu items and taking accurate food and beverage orders. Serve meals promptly, refill drinks, and clear dishes to ensure guest satisfaction throughout service. Use suggestive selling techniques for desserts and appetizers, present checks, and handle payments accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, then assist teammates and complete assigned side work as needed. This role supports Travelodge and Penny's Diner of Yuma, AZ, under Hospitality Management Corporation, which emphasizes honesty, professionalism, and results-driven team success.
Required Qualifications
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to learn basic paperwork quickly and to accurately complete required paperwork.
- Be thoroughly familiar with all types of diner food/ drinks.
- Must have a friendly, courteous, and outgoing personality.
- Must have high school diploma or its equivalent.
