Job Summary
Provide the highest quality service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner by receiving and delivering food and beverage orders while collecting payment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, pre-bus tables, and keep service stations stocked and tidy. Apply the Sequence of service to all tables, upsell food and beverage items, and perform cashiering functions including closing checks and preparing end-of-shift paperwork. Attend all required meetings and trainings, cross-train in other areas, and comply with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations. Maintain a friendly demeanor, practice guest-first mentality, and handle problems by anticipating and solving operational needs. Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a hotel or a related field
- Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages, according to local state laws
- TIPS, safe alcohol service certification
