Job Summary
Takes food and beverage orders and delivers items to dining room guests; greets guests in the dining room and assists with menu knowledge, allergens, and beverage pairings; communicates with back-of-house staff to ensure accurate orders and accommodations; maintains sanitation and safety standards, handles cash and follows proper cash-handling procedures; supports guests and staff during events, and keeps the dining area clean and organized.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year experience in high volume restaurant preferred
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality essential
- Must be able to effectively understand and convey written and verbal information to guests and coworkers
- Must possess a service orientation – actively looking for ways to help others
- Basic computer skills are required
- Will work for extended periods without sitting
- Required to lift furniture and other heavy items such as dishes up and down stairs
