Job Summary
Serve food and beverages to guests for banquets, a la carte service, and tented events. Maintain a neat dining room and guest service area by cleaning and resetting tables, ensuring condiments are supplied, and restocking service areas. Pour coffee and water as required. Interact with guests professionally, forward concerns to supervisors, and complete daily and weekly cleaning sheets. Work a flexible schedule from 5 AM to 2 AM with evening and weekend hours, lifting up to 40 pounds. This union position offers free admission and parking to Hersheypark.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Minimum 6 months of related and verifiable work experience as a server
- Ability to work in an organized and efficient manner
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and staff
- Ability to present a clean and appropriate image
- Ability to work a flexible schedule according to seniority from 5 AM - 2 AM
- Ability to work on one's feet for long periods of time
- Ability to stoop, bend, push, and lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work in a clean, efficient, and orderly manner
- Ability to meet scheduled requirements
