Job Summary
Greet guests promptly and courteously, present menus with confidence, and offer knowledgeable recommendations on steaks, seafood, sides, and wine pairings. Maintain in-depth knowledge of menu items, preparation methods, daily specials, and sourcing details while accurately taking orders and coordinating with kitchen and bar staff. Deliver food and beverages with proper timing, sequence, and presentation standards, anticipating guest needs and providing attentive, detail-oriented service throughout the dining experience. Handle guest concerns with professionalism, manage payment transactions accurately, and maintain table settings, cleanliness, and overall dining room appearance. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required in an elegant, high-volume fine dining environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server in fine dining or upscale steak and seafood restaurants
- Strong knowledge of steaks, seafood, wine, and classic cocktails
- Excellent communication, memory, and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a high-paced, refined environment
- Must meet local age requirements for serving alcohol
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability
