Job Summary
Greet guests as they enter and leave the restaurant, accurately describe dishes, and make appropriate recommendations. Enter orders into the Point-of-Sale system, process payments, and serve food or beverages at the counter. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while providing quick, friendly, and accurate service. You may run food to guest tables, clear tables, and keep all aspects of the dining room area clean. Work in a fast-paced environment requiring strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to stand for extended periods. Average rate is $17 per hour, including tips, with full-time employees eligible for PTO, health insurance, and discounts.
Required Qualifications
- Prior customer service experience
- A true "people person" providing exceptional and gracious service
- Experience working with a Point of Sale system
- Ability to work quickly and independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Competency in counting money and processing payments
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently even in a stressful situation
