Job Summary
Provides exceptional personalized service to guests at Hard Rock Casino Rockford. Responsibilities include greeting guests, presenting menus, suggesting courses and drinks, taking food and beverage orders, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a professional, friendly presence. Maintains knowledge of casino facilities and services, special events, and local attractions; adheres to sanitation standards and cost controls; assists bussers with table setup and clearing; manages multiple tasks with a courteous, confidential approach while positively representing the brand; targets VIP guest experiences and upholds three-star standards. Requires strong communication, a flexible schedule, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalency preferred
- Two years’ guest service experience in a family or formal dining environment
- Must be able to obtain valid Food Handlers or Bassett certification (as required)
- Illinois Gaming license
- Ability to read and write English
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds (25 kilograms) as part of duties
