Job Summary
Provide prompt, friendly food and beverage service to all guests by following the Gyu Kaku service sequence. Write down and repeat back orders, accurately inputting them into Aloha POS, then deliver items from the expo and service bar. Guide guests through menus, answer phones, and assist with questions while maintaining a gracious attitude and teamwork environment. Serve 2-4 tables within a designated station, present accurate guest checks, and accept payment in compliance with Honolulu Liquor laws. Adhere to the dress code, slip-resistant shoe requirement, and Japanese phrase participation. Maintain station cleanliness and ensure high-quality presentation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or High School equivalency
- Position requires regular attendance
- Ability to stand or walk for hours at a time
- Ability to hear, speak, walk, crawl, climb, stand, reach, bend, balance, kneel, stoop, lift and carry items up to 50 lbs
- Ability to tolerate significant changes in temperature
- Ability to tolerate frequent immersion of hands in water and cleaning or sanitizing solutions
