Check with customers to ensure they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems. Collect payments, write food orders into computers for kitchen transmittal, and prepare checks itemizing meal costs and sales taxes. Serve food or beverages, present menus, answer questions about ingredients and cooking methods, and describe and recommend wines. Clean tables, roll silverware, stock service areas, and perform food preparation duties such as preparing salads, appetizers, and brewing coffee. Escort customers to tables, assist with reservations, and perform other related duties as assigned. Must be at least sixteen years old with previous server experience preferred.
