Job Summary
Take orders and deliver food and beverages to ensure quality standards are met. Pre-bus tables, remove trash, and refill drinks as needed. Check guest identification to prevent underage drinking and follow alcohol awareness procedures. Operate the point-of-sale register to process credit card and cash transactions. Maintain communication with staff and management while answering questions about menu items and their preparation. Work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Requires one year of restaurant experience, TABC certification, and fluent English skills.
Required Qualifications
- TABC Certified
- Must display exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Punctual and reliable attendance
- 1 plus years in a high-volume establishment
- Must be 18 years of age
- Well-groomed and professionally dressed
- An appreciation for detail
- A passion for guest service
- Positive and professional attitude in every aspect of the position
- At least one year of experience in a restaurant setting
- Previous experience handling money
- Operating point-of-sales (POS) systems
- Credit/debit card processing systems
- Fluent English speaking
- Written communication skills
- Good time management skills
- Professional dress, speech, and behavior
- Can work a flexible schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays
