Job Summary
Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and write them on order slips or enter them into computers for kitchen transmittal. Ensure tables are served properly, engage patrons in a friendly manner, and make menu suggestions. Monitor dining experiences to correct any problems and collect payments, preparing checks that itemize meal costs and sales taxes. Handle money accurately while operating the point-of-sale system. Requires a positive attitude, ability to work under pressure with bussers, cooks, and staff, and experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
