Job Summary
Greets customers and serves food and beverages in a friendly and efficient manner, applying suggestive selling techniques and recording orders. Responsible for prompt placement of orders, follow-up to ensure guest satisfaction, and clearing/removing dishes. Prepares appetizers, desserts, and beverages; seats customers in arrival order and highlights the feature of the day. Handles payments according to cash handling procedures, clears and presets tables, and assists with cleaning and stocking duties. Periodically supports other service personnel and resolves guest complaints by informing management. Adheres to the service cycle standards, maintains health regulations, and contributes to a pleasant dining experience in a high-volume restaurant. Minimum 1-year experience preferred; mobility to move around the service area; ability to lift up to 25 lbs.},
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-year experience in a high volume restaurant preferred
- Must be able to observe and differentiate monetary denominations
- Must be able to observe and ensure the product is prepared and presented in accordance with company requirements
- Ability to communicate with guests
- Team player
- Reliable and flexible
- Must have sufficient mobility to move and/or operate in work area
- Lifts and carries food trays weighing up to 25 lbs
- Must meet health risk concerns about food handling
