Job Summary
Serve delicious meals, record guest meals, and report to the Business Office Director while recognizing department needs and reporting concerns to the Culinary Services Director. Assist in preparations for special meals and parties, manage daily operations, and clean dining and server areas. Ensure adherence to community infection control policies and food safety procedures, including temperature checks and equipment sanitation. Perform other duties as assigned by Culinary Services, Sous Chef, or Cooks. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to demonstrate adherence to proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal service; including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Understands food safety procedures (e.g. temperature safety), sanitation of equipment measures, and storage techniques
- Ability to have awareness of team dynamic, inventory, safety and cleanliness
