Job Summary
Check station setup and cleanliness before, during, and after shifts. Greet guests within 30 seconds of seating, explain specials and promotions, and record orders by repeating them for accuracy. Input orders into the Point of Sale system, present checks, collect payment, and replenish beverages. Maintain knowledge of all food and beverage products, menu items, and service standards while ensuring guest satisfaction. Perform duties safely, including lifting up to 50 pounds, with a focus on professional demeanor and team collaboration. TIPS certification is required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
- Must have knowledge of the appropriate table settings, service-ware and menu items.
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language sufficient to understand menus, special promotions, record orders, and communicate with guests to explain and record orders.
- Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.
- Ability to operate a keyboard and learn Point of Sale procedures to pre-check order and close out the check.
- Requires lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Prior hospitality experience preferred.
- Ability to obtain TIPS certification is required.
