Job Summary
Serve resident and guest meals courteously, assist with placing orders, and provide beverage service including water, tea, juices, milk, and coffee. Reset dining rooms and clean kitchen areas by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming after each meal. Refill condiment bowls, report broken equipment, and understand proper food storage and labeling techniques. Perform tray service while attending to special resident needs such as mobility deficits and memory impairment. Maintain confidentiality regarding resident information and interact politely with all stakeholders. Complete all other duties assigned and attend required in-services and staff meetings. Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays while wearing a clean designated uniform. This role supports Harmony Senior Services, a leader in the luxury senior living industry offering independent, assisted, and memory care across 45+ locations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be in clean designated uniform during working hours and maintain good personal hygiene
- Must be able to read and follow simple instructions
- Must possess ability to perform simple, repetitive tasks
- Must be able to learn quickly and apply learned principles
- Must be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervision
- Must be able to bend, reach, grasp, push and pull objects
- Must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods up to three (3) hours at a time
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and carry heavy objects for 20 feet
- Must be organized and willing to work well with other team members
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
