Job Summary
Server is responsible for providing dining and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas, including proper dining set-up, serving meals, and cleaning the dining rooms. Duties involve handling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and complying with federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food service. This Montessori-Inspired Living® community emphasizes dignity, equality, and respect, with a focus on enhancing quality of life. The role supports a highly engaged staff environment, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for career growth. Key skills include multitasking, effective written and verbal communication, organizational and time-management abilities, good judgment, and problem solving.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Previous experience in dining hospitality and / or full service senior living preferred
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
- Competent in organizational, time management skills
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
