Job Summary
Ensure all residents and guests receive gracious hospitality and a pleasant dining experience by guiding them through menus and demonstrating thorough knowledge of food and beverages. Assist in Bar and Coffee Shop operations as scheduled, maintain cleanliness and health standards in dining areas, and take accurate orders to deliver prompt service. Set and reset tables, assist with meal preparation if requested, and manage stock levels for the front of the house. Support special events and activities as needed while maintaining high appearance and hygiene standards. This role requires flexibility for holidays, weekends, and pre-planned events within our senior living community.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a caring heart, willing to serve others
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
- ServSafe Certification if applicable by state requirements
- Food server/hospitality experience required
- Willingness to work with the elderly in a senior living environment and prepare food which meets or exceeds hospitality and service standards
- Able to be flexible and work a variety of shifts including holidays, weekends and for pre-planned special events
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with staff and residents
Desired Qualifications
- Bar Card preferred if applicable to state requirements
- Knowledge of a POS system preferred
