Job Summary
Take customer food and drink orders, prepare itemized checks, and process payments while escorting guests to tables and managing the cash register. Clear and reset tables, operate the P.O.S. system, and ensure stations remain stocked and tidy. Perform opening and closing procedures, including cashiering functions and end-of-shift paperwork, while adhering to Aimbridge Hospitality standards and alcohol awareness regulations. Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional service style in a high-pressure environment.
Required Qualifications
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Food Handlers certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
