Job Summary
Engage residents with friendly service, take accurate food and drink orders, and deliver meals promptly while demonstrating menu knowledge and dietary awareness. Manage dining room setup, re-setup, and cleaning to ensure readiness and compliance with health standards. Collect payments, enter orders into the POS system, and practice safe food handling procedures. Assist the food preparation team when needed. Perform dining room checklists for safety and department of health compliance. Shifts include full-time days, part-time evenings, and on-call rotating weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant, dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living
- A positive attitude
- An ability to work well under pressure
- Able to perform high quality work while unsupervised
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to deliver orders in a timely fashion
Desired Qualifications
- A can-do attitude
- Knowledge of the menu with the ability to make suggestions
- Knowledge of specialty diet needs of residents
