Job Summary
Ensure residents and guests receive gracious hospitality and a pleasant dining experience by guiding them through menus and delivering food in an organized, prompt manner. Assist in the bar and coffee shop as scheduled, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all dining areas, and set or reset tables per company standards. Take accurate orders, partner with team members to manage stock levels, and help with meal preparation or special events as requested. Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate thorough knowledge of food and beverages. Work rotating 12-hour shifts including holidays and weekends, applying your hospitality experience to serve others in our senior living environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a caring heart, willing to serve others
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
- ServSafe Certification if applicable by state requirements
- Food server/hospitality experience required
- Willingness to work with the elderly in a senior living environment and prepare food which meets or exceeds hospitality and service standards
- Able to be flexible and work a variety of shifts including holidays, weekends and for pre-planned special events
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with staff and residents
Desired Qualifications
- Bar Card preferred if applicable to state requirements
- Knowledge of a POS system preferred
