Job Summary
Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual server infrastructure while supporting Windows Server environments and core services. Manage enterprise storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions, including Pure Storage FlashArray platforms, alongside administering replication, snapshots, and SAN/Fibre Channel connectivity. Apply security updates, resolve infrastructure incidents, and support technology refresh projects while producing technical documentation. Collaborate with Infrastructure, Networks, and Cyber Security teams to ensure the server estate remains secure and resilient. Participate in a paid, planned on-call rota for out-of-hours support following induction.
Required Qualifications
- You must live within a 30-minute commute of the site
- You must be eligible to obtain and maintain UK Security Clearance
- You must already have the Right to Work in the UK
- Windows Server administration
- VMware or Hyper-V virtualisation
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
- Enterprise storage and backup solutions
- Pure Storage FlashArray administration
- SAN/Fibre Channel technologies
- Storage capacity, performance and lifecycle management
- PowerShell scripting or automation
- Enterprise infrastructure support
- ITIL service management practices
