Job Summary
Greet guests, take beverage and food orders, and serve cocktails or menu items while up-selling. Guide the guest experience by being well-versed in all concept products and menu items. Communicate effectively with co-workers, kitchen staff, and bartenders using the point of sales system. Check guest identification to ensure age requirements are met and monitor alcohol consumption to determine when service should cease. Accurately account for all sales and payments, alert management of service or safety issues, and complete assigned side work. Coordinate with bartenders and kitchen for ordering and receipt of food and beverages. This immersive sports entertainment and dining experience in downtown Nashville combines DraftKings' sports gaming platforms with Sports & Social's high-energy venues.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of serving in a fast paced food and beverage venue, preferably nightclub environment
- Must meet state legal age requirements
- Must speak fluent English
- Must be courteous, pleasant, and good natured
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency
- Reading and writing abilities
- Basic math skills
- May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
- Handling, carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds (bar ware, carts, boxes, bottles, etc.)
- Must be able to efficiently and safely stand and move about the entire facility during each shift
- Handling food, objects, products and utensils effectively and safely
- Bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods and garnishments preferred
