Job Summary
Welcome guests, guide them through food and wine menus with thoughtful recommendations, and accurately take orders using Toast POS. Manage the entire section by anticipating needs, communicating with culinary and front-of-house teams, and maintaining clean, organized tables. Present checks, process payments, and complete opening, closing, and side work while restocking service areas. Support fellow Servers, Winetenders, and Bussers to create an effortless experience that turns first-time guests into regulars. Work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends from Wednesday through Sunday in a family-owned winery and Osteria in San Carlos.
Required Qualifications
- Previous restaurant serving experience
- California Food Handler Card
- California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification
- Must meet California requirements for serving alcoholic beverages
- Ability to work a flexible restaurant schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Availability Wednesday through Sunday
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Black pants and non-slip shoes required
- Domenico uniform shirt and apron provided
