Job Summary
Server/Dishwasher role focusing on dining service for residents. Responsibilities include taking beverage and meal orders from residents, coordinating with the kitchen, serving to standards, addressing issues, maintaining safety and sanitation rules, cleaning dishes and food-service areas, general cleaning of the dietary department (vents, ovens, vent hoods, exterior areas), organizing stock and making deliveries as needed. Requires High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, effective communication, flexibility and a positive attitude, prior dishwashing/cleaning experience in industrial/restaurant kitchens, and valid First Aid certification with on-call weekend rotation. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Prior experience in washing dishes and general cleaning of industrial/restaurant kitchens
- Obtain/hold any local, state and/or county required food handling/sanitation licenses and/or certificates
- Must possess a valid First Aid Certification
- available for on-call emergency situations and weekend coverage on a rotating basis
