Job Summary
Present professional dining service by greeting residents, familiarizing yourself with their preferences, and assisting with beverages, salads, soups, and desserts. Set tables, refill condiments, and manage salad and beverage stations while pre-busing tables and resetting them with utensils and glassware after meals. Complete daily cleaning duties, assist with minor food preparation and plating, and follow all directions from Culinary Directors and managers. Maintain a clean, professional appearance and adhere to safety protocols when using equipment and protective devices. Work varying hours as needed, ensuring prompt, polite service to residents and team members.
Required Qualifications
- at least sixteen (16) years of age
- high school diploma, or equivalent
- read, write, understand and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency
- clear verbal and written communication skills
- follow written and verbal directions and apply practical problem-solving skills if needed
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Professional in appearance and conduct
- be criminally cleared
- be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks
- dependable transportation
- work varying hours as needed
