Job Summary
Serve resident and guest meals courteously, manage clean-up and resetting of dining rooms, and assist residents with tray service and menu ordering. Provide beverage service, refill condiment bowls, and report broken equipment. Sweep, mop, and vacuum kitchen and dining areas while maintaining proper food storage and labeling techniques. Attend in-services, staff meetings, and complete assigned duties. Maintain clean uniforms, follow confidentiality policies, and interact politely with residents, guests, and co-workers. Required Qualifications
- Must be in clean designated uniform during working hours and maintain good personal hygiene
- Must be able to read and follow simple instructions
- Must possess ability to perform simple, repetitive tasks
- Must be able to learn quickly and apply learned principles
- Must be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervision
- Must be able to bend, reach, grasp, push and pull objects
- Must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods up to three (3) hours at a time
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and carry heavy objects for 20 feet
- Must be organized and willing to work well with other team members
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
