Job Summary
Provide meals and beverages to residents in the dining room while ensuring they are satisfied with presentation and have everything needed to eat. Clean up vases, change table clothes, and wipe down chairs and legs from meal time. Make sure everything is ready for the next shift. Offer and provide residents with alternative meal options if desired. Maintain knowledge of daily specials and special diet accommodations. Work Monday through Sunday in shifts from 6a to 2:30p or 11:15a to 7:45p at an assisted living facility in the Indianapolis Metro area.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check
- Hours: Shifts 6a to 2:30p; 11:15a to 7:45p; needs Monday thru Sunday
Desired Qualifications
- Ensure residents is satisfied with presentation of meal prior to leaving table and has everything they need to eat the meal. Offer and provide residents with alternatives, if desired.
- Clean up vases, change table clothes if necessary and wipe down chairs and chair legs if dirty from meal time.
- Make sure everything is ready for next shift.
- Knowledgeable of daily specials, special diet accommodations, etc.
- Neat in appearance and professional behavior.
- Organized with ability to multitask and prioritize workflow
