Job Summary
Deliver exceptional dining experiences by providing attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service to every guest. Guide diners through menu selections with comprehensive expertise in food, wine, beer, spirits, and cocktails, offering tailored recommendations and pairing suggestions. Accurately take orders, enter them into the POS system, and present checks while processing payments. Anticipate guest needs, respond quickly to requests, and build rapport to encourage repeat visits. Ensure food and beverage delivery meets presentation and quality standards in a fast-paced environment. Maintain professional appearance and positive attitude while adhering to food safety and alcohol service certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of serving experience in a full-service restaurant preferred
- Experience in upscale, hotel, or high-volume dining environments is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food, wine, beer, and cocktails
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Current food safety and alcohol service certifications as required by state and local regulations
