Job Summary
Provide food and beverage service to club members and guests in a country club setting. Greet and acknowledge members and guests, be knowledgeable about the menu, buffet, and wine list, and time the service of each course. Learn members’ names and special preferences, know wines and spirits, and perform required duties during emergency situations. Set up side stations, take orders, assist with kitchen communication, upsell daily specials and wine selections, manage billing and tips, and maintain a clean dining area. Ensure guest satisfaction, assist with dessert service, and adhere to local/state laws and club policies for serving alcohol. Attend pre-meal meetings and handle closing duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Two years of comparable wait service experience preferred
- Ability to read, write and execute basic math skills
- Food safety certification
- Of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
- Alcoholic beverage certification
