Prepare food for serving to residents and ensure satisfaction with meal service. Take orders, set and strip tables, and serve food and beverages in accordance with established policies and procedures. Unpack and store supplies while maintaining work and storage areas in a clean, safe sanitary manner. Wash, clean, and sort dishes, cutlery, fixtures, and equipment used for food preparation and service. Operate and clean food equipment, furniture, and maintain the dining area. This part-time role at Milton Retirement Residence includes 39 hours biweekly between 11:30 AM and 7:30 PM or 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Current Safe Food Handler's Certification is required, along with a high standard of hygiene and the ability to demonstrate empathy toward seniors.
