Job Summary
Conduct hospitality-style dining service by setting, serving, and cleaning tables using the Ready, Set, Serve Program. Assist with food preparation and presentation under the Chef's direction while maintaining strict sanitation standards. Promote and track a la carte and wine sales, ensuring the dining area meets tour readiness requirements. Participate in emergency drills and adhere to all health and safety policies. Cover upcoming and current vacations and sick calls. Requires Smart Serve or Serve It Right designation, one year dining experience, and valid work eligibility in Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Must have the Smart Serve designation OR Serve It Right (SIRS) designation (for Saskatchewan locations)
- one year experience in dining room service
- Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills
- You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
- You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check
Desired Qualifications
- Safe Food Handling Certification preferred
- Experience working with seniors and knowledge of the aging process an asset
