Job Summary
Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order. Attend to customers upon entry, present menus, and help them select food and beverages. Take and serve orders, answer questions, and make recommendations for other products. Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff. Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude. Issue bills and accept payment. Promote dedication from customers. Perform other duties assigned. Maintain a customer-oriented approach with patience and excellent people skills while handling cashier duties. Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Regularly exposed to smoke or airborne particles.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year experience in bar / restaurant
- Proven restaurant serving or waitress experience
- Customer-oriented approach and patience
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- Hands on experience in cashier duties
- Excellent people skills
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Attention to cleanliness and safety
- Available to work a flexible work schedule including nights and weekends and some Holidays
