Job Summary
Greet residents and families, take orders, and deliver food while pouring beverages and presenting menu options. Prepare dining room tables with special attention to detail and ensure cleanliness by following kitchen and dining room cleaning schedules. Protect establishments and residents by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies. Assist residents in selecting food and beverages, explain daily specials, and help with special events as needed. Maintain a clean uniform and professional presentation while remaining active throughout the shift. This part-time day shift role at Koelsch Communities offers flexible hours Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM, with pay ranging from $17.50 to $18.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Positive impersonal skills
- A food handler's card
- Basic math skills
- Ability to lift 15 pounds
- Customer service experience
- Must be drug free and submit to drug screening upon hire and routinely
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
- Must possess an upbeat, positive, flexible, and enthusiastic personality
- Must be an honest and dependable individual
- Must maintain proper hygiene
- Must be professional in dress and presentation
- Must be willing to be active during entire work shift
- Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in Standard English
- Must be a mature individual
- Must possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Must be detail and team work oriented
- Must attend required in-services/ workshops to further education of skills and community requirements
- Passed an approved food handler's or ServSafe course as required by County, State and/or Community policy
- Must abide by the Community dress code policy
- Must be able to stand, walk, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Must possess qualities of leadership, tact, and adaptability to change
- Must display and use own good judgement and initiative in daily duties
